2019 Impact Report
2019 was a groundbreaking year for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Oregon & SW Washington.
Our extraordinary expansion of care in 2019 allowed us to reach more children and families than ever before and established a statewide network of housing and support that can be counted on to keep families safe and close to the care that they need, no matter what.
In 2019, our community came together to open two beautiful new Ronald McDonald House programs and expand our Hospitality a la Carte program – allowing us to provide 22,000 free night stays and deliver sweets, treats, games, and toys to more than 16,000 children and families in need. A staggering number of people, including 3,000 volunteers and over 11,000 compassionate donors, surrounded and supported each family as they walked through our doors. Every moment of joy, respite, and relief experienced by these families underscores what we know to be true – it is vital that we continue to provide free of charge housing to families with seriously ill children needing lifesaving medical care.
The gratitude we feel for the donors, volunteers, staff, and community members who made this possible is incalculable – we would not be where we are today without the dedication of each and every member of our RMHC family. Please join us in celebrating our collective 2019 impact.
