Built the old-fashioned way with old-growth timbers joined by oak pegs, this stunning lodge-style house built in 1997 is an architectural gem with a warm and rustic feel and expansively comfortable spaces. You will feel instantly enveloped by the warmth of the gorgeous great room and stone fireplace and will settle in easily to our one-story, six-family Bend House.

Your Ronald McDonald House has all the amenities to make you feel at home, including:

  • Seven guest suites with private bathrooms, a sitting area, and fully stocked linens, towels, and toiletries.
  • Free food including access to an expansive in-House food pantry, a grab and go snack bar and a weekly meal calendar including free family dinners at least five nights/week.
  • Weekly program offerings that including activities such as music, guided crafts, and pet-assisted therapy.
  • Access to beautiful common spaces including a great room and library, outdoor play spaces, a playroom, resource room, a basketball court, sitting areas and a beautiful multi-family kitchen and dining room.
  • Games, books, crafts, and activities for all ages, access to plenty of toys for indoor and outdoor play, art supplies for whenever creativity strikes.
  • Two golf carts for use in traveling to and from St. Charles Medical Center.
  • 24-hour staffing and daily “concierge” services provided by staff and volunteers.

A home is more than a place to stay: it's a sanctuary.

At our House, you and your family have a private room where you can stay together, comfort each other, and find peace together.  Our rooms can comfortably sleep four family members for the duration of your stay. This isn’t a hotel – it’s your home away from home and we have all the amenities you might need including:

  • Television, Keurigs, and small refrigerators in every guest room
  • Additional, private cabinet and refrigerator space to store food
  • Free Wi-Fi throughout the House
  • A communal kitchen to cook your own meals when you wish
  • Full on-site laundry facilities
  • A community of support – our volunteers and staff are here to make your life as comfortable as possible. We’re in your corner.
