What is the process for reserving a room at the Bend House?

If you are new to Ronald McDonald House:

  1. Call your hospital social worker. If you’re not sure about how to contact your social worker, contact the care management team at your treatment facility:
    • St. Charles Medical Center: (541) 706-6360
  2. The social worker or care management team will submit a referral or request for you
  3. RMHC will review your referral and work to find an available room during your requested dates*
  4. An RMHC staff member will reach out to you about your referral status and provide information about your stay

If you have stayed with us within the last year:

Your prior referral is good for up to one year. Please click here to complete a request to stay.

*Unfortunately, RMHC cannot guarantee room availability. The hotels below may be offering discounted medical rates – be sure to mention that you are on the RMHC waitlist!

Who can stay at the Bend House?

To qualify to stay, families must meet all of these requirements:

  1. Families must have a patient who is 21 years or younger
  2. Families must be receiving treatment at a partner facility
  3. Families must have a current referral from the facility where they are receiving care

Other important qualification information:

  • Patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
  • Patients 18-21 must be accompanied by a support person who is age 18 or older.
  • Families experiencing a high-risk pregnancy may stay at the Bend House at any point during pregnancy with a doctor’s recommendation.

The Bend House is filled with all the amenities of home just moments away from the St. Charles Medical Center.
