Meals from the Heart

Help provide meals for our families!

RMHC is dedicated to providing comforting meals, safe spaces, and all the amenities of home for the thousands of families that travel each year to receive medical care for their seriously ill or injured child. Our Meals from the Heart program focuses on reliably providing nutritious and comforting meals to families inside our Houses and lifting burdens so families can focus on what matters most – each other.

The Meals from the Heart Program relies on the dedication of hundreds of community members across the state who donate, volunteer, and advocate to ensure that no family goes hungry while in our Houses.

You can make a difference today by signing up to feed families in your community for a single night, on a recurring basis, at any of our four Oregon Houses.

"We checked in tired and hungry, thinking we were going to need to find a place to eat. When you welcomed us in, there was a meal already prepared for us and we were invited to eat. These meals are really such a huge blessing!"

Meals from the Heart isn’t only about dinner!

Whether a family is returning home after a long day at the hospital or needing a pick-me-up after a long day of traveling, we work to ensure that there is always a snack or meal available. You can help make sure that families can count on us for food whenever they need us by shopping our wishlists and having the food we need sent directly to our doors.
